What challenge or problem were you facing before engaging Rising Connection?

Look, we were in a remote area, one of Australia’s most remote mine sites, and then geographically spread across the mine site, and we needed to have a robust connectivity solution that you could link up to five offices here on-site plus another two that are off-site.

What are things like now, what is different, what has changed (for the better)?

Well, the solution we had before Marcus was… it was great in a single-office scenario. We’re up to about 10 users. I think today, for example, we’ve got over 70 people on the network spread across multiple locations. The other solution wasn’t scalable, and it was too hard to manage on an individual basis. I don’t have to look after it anymore. Having you guys do it has made a big difference to our productivity. We’ve also got a robust network that hasn’t fallen over since the project started, and it’s been stable. Backups are done, both to Adelaide and to the United States every night, and we’ve never had any lost connectivity issues.

What did you find the most enjoyable/interesting part about working with Rising Connection?

I think it’s around your technical expertise. I had spoken to some other solution providers and got a bit frustrated with their lack of knowledge and lack of understanding in the realities of what we needed to do. You guys embraced that and just provided the solution without giving me all the excuses.

Would you recommend Rising Connection to other companies?

Yes, I would. Yeah. Look I think it’s a no-brainer. I think if you need to get work done in areas like this, remote areas or even urban areas where we operate I think the solution is worse… it’s a solution that I’d do again in a heartbeat.
